Terms of Service

Dancing Goat Web Design

By purchasing, accessing, or using any services, products, or digital assets provided by Dancing Goat Web Design (“we,” “us,” or “our”), you (“Client,” “you,” or “your”) agree to be bound by the following Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not purchase or use our services.

1. Scope of Services

Dancing Goat Web Design provides professional digital services, including but not limited to:

  • Website design and development for WordPress and Shopify

  • Marketing strategy development

  • Content strategy and creation

  • Search Engine Optimization (SEO) strategy and implementation

  • Custom AI tools, including Custom GPTs

  • Website maintenance and support plans

  • Digital downloads, templates, guides, and other resources

  • Consulting, audits, and advisory services

Specific deliverables, timelines, pricing, and inclusions are defined in individual proposals, invoices, checkout pages, or written agreements.

2. Payments & Billing

  • All payments are processed securely through Stripe & PayPal.

  • Payment is required in full or as agreed before work begins, unless otherwise stated in writing.

  • For payment plans or subscriptions, you authorize recurring charges according to the selected plan.

  • Failure to complete payment may result in paused or terminated services.

All prices are listed in USD unless otherwise stated.

3. No Refund Policy (Digital & Services)

Due to the nature of digital services and custom work:

  • All sales are final.

  • No refunds are provided for:

    • Completed or partially completed services

    • Strategy, consulting, or advisory work

    • Custom GPTs

    • Digital products or downloads

    • Website builds once work has begun

If a project is canceled by the Client after work has started, any work completed up to that point remains billable.

In rare cases, we may offer a credit or partial adjustment at our sole discretion.

4. Maintenance & Ongoing Plans

Website maintenance plans may include services such as:

  • WordPress core, theme, and plugin updates

  • Basic content updates or minor tweaks (as defined in the plan)

  • Monitoring and basic troubleshooting

  • Hosting (if included in your plan)

  • Access to support resources

Maintenance plans do not include:

  • Major redesigns

  • Custom development

  • Emergency recovery from third-party hacks or hosting failures

  • Services outside the defined scope

Maintenance plans may be canceled by either party with written notice, subject to the billing cycle.

5. Client Responsibilities

To ensure successful outcomes, you agree to:

  • Provide timely access to required platforms (hosting, CMS, Shopify, domain registrar, etc.)

  • Supply accurate content, assets, and information

  • Respond to requests within a reasonable timeframe

  • Maintain backups and credentials unless otherwise agreed

Delays caused by missing information or lack of response may affect timelines and delivery.

6. Intellectual Property

Client Materials

You retain ownership of all content and materials you provide.

Work Product

Upon full payment:

  • You receive rights to use the completed website, designs, or deliverables for your business.

  • We retain the right to display completed work in our portfolio unless otherwise agreed.

Custom GPTs & Frameworks

Custom GPTs, workflows, prompts, and systems may include proprietary methods developed by Dancing Goat Web Design. You receive usage rights for your business but may not resell, redistribute, or claim authorship of the underlying systems.

7. AI & Custom GPT Disclaimer

Custom GPTs and AI tools are provided “as-is.”

  • Outputs may vary and are not guaranteed to be accurate, complete, or compliant.

  • You are responsible for reviewing and validating all AI-generated content before use.

  • We are not liable for business decisions made based on AI outputs.

8. SEO & Marketing Disclaimer

We do not guarantee:

  • Specific rankings

  • Traffic numbers

  • Revenue increases

  • Conversion rates

Search engines, platforms, and algorithms are outside our control. SEO and marketing results vary based on many external factors.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

  • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service in question

  • We are not responsible for third-party services, hosting providers, plugins, themes, or platforms

10. Third-Party Tools & Platforms

Your project may rely on third-party services including (but not limited to):

  • WordPress

  • Shopify

  • Hosting providers

  • Stripe

  • PayPal

  • Plugins, themes, and/or apps

We are not responsible for changes, outages, pricing, or policies of third-party services.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to refuse or terminate services if:

  • Payments are not made

  • The Client engages in abusive, unethical, or unlawful behavior

  • Continued work would violate laws, platform rules, or professional standards

Termination does not entitle the Client to a refund.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
